Becoming a Member
I don't live in the United Sates or Canada. Can I still become a member?
No, membership in the Where2Go Exchange is currently limited to residents of the United States and Canada. We are however actively exploring the option of opening the service to other areas, so please check back later.
Why is my email address required? What are you going to do with it?
Your email address serves several purposes in our system. The most important is the delivery of your new account password after enrollment is complete, and in the future if you ever misplace it. If a valid email address if not provided at enrollment, you will not be able to access your new account.

Per our privacy policy, your email address will never be revealed to any third party, including other Exchange Merchants. All communication between merchants is done internally via our messaging feature.
What is the "Username" you are asking for on the enrollment form?
Part of the enrollment procedure is selecting your account username. This value can be any string of characters you wish, but spaces are not allowed. Your username, along with your password, will be used to authenticate your access to the system. Your Username is frequently used when presenting your account activity to other merchants, so you may want it to reflect your business in some fashion.
None of the market segments are appropriate for my business. What should I do?
Because your account's market segment determines what type of postings you receive and conversely what type of merchants receive your postings, it is important that you select the appropriate segment at enrollment. If you are unable to find an appropriate one, it is likely that we have not rolled out to your segment yet.

As the demand for the Where2Go Exchange grows, we are constantly expanding to new market areas. If you would like to see the market segment for your business available in the Exchange, please send us your requests.
What's the deal with the Timezone and Daylight Savings Time values?
Because the Where2Go Exchange brings together business from all over North America, date and time values for postings, messages and other activity can be adjusted to match your timezone. Simply select your timezone from the pulldown list provided at enrollment or under account settings.

Time values can also be adjusted for areas that observe a one hour addition for Daylight Savings Time. If your area is currently observing DST, simply check the "Adjust for Daylight Savings Time" checkbox on the enrollment or account settings form. When the DST period ends, be sure to clear this checkbox at that time. It will not be adjusted for you automatically.
I was able to sign up, but I never received my account password.
Your new account password is emailed to the address provided when enrollment is complete. If you did not receive your password, it is likely that your email address was entered incorrectly. If your email address is incorrect, please contact us to have it changed.

If your email address appears to be correct, you can have your password emailed to you again using our login retrieval mechanism.
Login Problems
I can't remember my login username or password. How do I obtain them?
Your account username and password can be emailed to you at anytime using our login retrieval page. The first step is to locate your account using your Business Name, Email Address, or Username. Once your account is found, the username and password can be emailed to the contact email address on file.
How do I login to the Where2Go Exchange?
To access the Where2Go Exchange, enter your account's username and password at the login prompt. If you do not yet have an account, you can become a member by filling out our sign up form. If your username and/or password have been misplaced, they can be emailed to you via our login retrieval mechanism.
Why has my account been disabled?
If you are receiving an "account is disabled" message when attempting to login, your account has most likely been suspended for administrative reasons. Typically this occurs due to a violation of our acceptable use policy. Please contact customer service for assistance.
How does the "Save My Login" feature work?
This feature allows you to save your Where2Go Exchange username and password to your computer so you don't have to enter it each time you login. The information is saved using by writing a tiny file to your computer's hard disk called a "cookie". This file is harmless and will not negatively impact your computer in any way. If you ever wish to remove it from your system, simply clear the "Save My Login" checkbox before logging into the system.

USE CAUTION WHEN ENABLING THE "SAVE MY LOGIN" FEATURE! Anyone with access to your computer will be able to gain full access to your Where2Go Exchange account. Thus, it is not recommended that you use this feature on public or shared computers, such as those at internet cafes or libraries.
